Hello! I’m Indigo.

I am ACMI‘s Head of Research, where I conduct in house visitor research and evaluation, coordinate research partnerships, and commission market research that ensures our audience is at the centre of the museum.

Prior to joining ACMI, I was a Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society, located in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. My research focussed on digital transformation and inequality in cultural and creative institutions and industries. My work appears in Cultural Trends, Archival Science, Media International Australia, Informatics and Telematics, and the International Journal of Communication.

Since 2017, I have worked with more than 100 cultural institutions, from remote First Nations art centres to regional community museums, artist-run initiatives, public galleries, and state and national institutions. In 2022, I won the RMIT School of Media and Communication Dean’s Ed Montano Award for Industry Engagement.
